Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before enrolling in any program or using our services.

1. Enrollment and Payment

 

• Registration: All students must complete the online registration form and provide accurate personal and medical information before commencing lessons.

• Fees: Lesson fees are payable in full upfront for the entire term or package, unless a specific payment plan has been agreed upon in writing. Fees are non-refundable except as outlined in Section 3.

• Late Payment: Singapore Swim School reserves the right to suspend lessons or cancel enrollment if fees are not paid by the stipulated due date.

 

 

2. Lesson Conduct and Safety

 

• Attendance: Students are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled lessons.

• Parent/Guardian Responsibility (for Minors): A responsible adult must remain on the premises during the entire duration of the lesson for all children under the age of [Insert Age, e.g., 12]. They must actively supervise the child before and after the lesson.

• Pool Safety: All participants must adhere strictly to the instructor's directions and all posted pool rules. Failure to comply may result in immediate lesson termination without refund.

• Health: Students must not attend lessons if they have any contagious illness, severe skin infection, or have suffered from diarrhea/vomiting in the last 48 hours.

 

 

3. Cancellations, Make-Ups, and Refunds

 

• By Student (Absence): We do not offer refunds or make-up lessons for student absences (including illness, travel, or conflicting commitments). Students are paying for a guaranteed slot regardless of attendance.

• By School (Instructor/Weather): If a lesson is cancelled by Singapore Swim School (e.g., due to instructor unavailability, lightning/severe weather, or pool closure), a make-up lesson, credit, or pro-rata refund will be offered at the School's discretion.

• Refunds: Refunds are generally not provided once a term/package has commenced, except in extenuating circumstances (e.g., long-term medical condition supported by a doctor's letter), and will be subject to an administrative fee of [Insert Percentage, e.g., 10%] and charged based on lessons utilized.

 

 

4. Liability and Indemnity

 

• Risk Acknowledgment: Participants acknowledge that swimming and water activities involve inherent risks.

• Liability: Singapore Swim School, its instructors, and its affiliates shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage to personal property arising from participation in the lessons, except where such injury, loss, or damage is caused by the negligence of the School or its staff.

• Medical Authorization: In the event of an emergency, the School is authorized to seek necessary medical attention for the student, at the cost of the parent/guardian.

 

 

5. Data Privacy and Media

 

• Privacy: Personal information collected during registration will be used solely for the purpose of administering lessons and school communication, in compliance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

• Media: Singapore Swim School may occasionally take photos or videos for promotional purposes. By enrolling, you consent to the use of your/your child's image/likeness unless you provide written notification to opt-out upon registration.

 

 

6. Governing Law

 

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.

By enrolling in lessons with Singapore Swim School, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
